By entering an Insane Terrain Running ltd (ITR LTD) event applicants agree to our disclaimer and agree to abide by our terms and conditions as listed below.

Any foreseen alterations to the course or event will also be published on our website (www.insaneterrainrunning.com). It is the responsibility of all competitors to ensure they are aware of all information relating to the event. Should the event be cancelled due to reasons beyond the organisers control you will be offered a place at a future event, if you are unable, or choose not defer your entry we will refund your entry fee less an administration charge of £10.00. We regret that once you have entered an Insane Terrain Running Ltd event, we are unable to issue refunds under any circumstances. If you are unable to participate due to injury or illness the Directors of the Company can, at their discretion, choose to defer your entry to another Insane Terrain Running Event or transfer your entry to another person. Deferrals or Transfers due to any reason can only be made up to 7 days before the race. No changes will be made within 7 days of the event.

The Directors of ITR Ltd reserve the right to refuse entry on the day to any participant who in our opinion is under the influence of any intoxicating substance – no refunds will be issued should this occur. Any participant not following Marshalls orders can be asked to leave the course at any time. No refund will be issued under any circumstances should a participant be ejected from the course by the Directors of ITR Ltd or an agent acting on our behalf.

The Directors of ITR Ltd maintain the right to refuse or revoke entry to any applicant, where they believe that accepting the entry could prejudice the event, sponsors, associates or staff. This right of refusal extends to include applications where acceptance is considered by the promoters to be likely to infringe upon the enjoyment of any persons connected with the event, including staff, marshals, volunteers & other competitors.

By entering an ITR Ltd event you accept that taking part in this event is by its nature hazardous and contains certain inherent risks. You agree to the following

I agree that I participate entirely at my own risk and accept that the event organisers are not liable for any loss, damage, claim, expense, injury or accidents which may arise as a consequence of my negligence at this event. I will participate with care and attention, abiding by the rules of the event. I remain responsible for my own property and actions. I am in good health and have done sufficient training to safely complete the course.

I understand, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that the risk of injury and/or death from the activities involved are significant including, but not limited to the following: (i) drowning; (ii) near-drowning; (iii) sprains; (iv) strains; (v) fractures; (vi) heat and cold injuries; (vii) over-use syndrome; (viii) injuries involving vehicles; (ix) animal bites and/or stings; (x) contact with poisonous plants; (xi) accidents involving, but not limited to running, paddling, climbing, biking, swimming, hiking, jumping, travel by boat, truck, car, or other convenience; and (xii) the potential for permanent paralysis and/or death. While particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist;

I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation;

Insane Terrain Running Ltd maintain the right to use images and photographs taken by their contracted photographers and employees at the event without informing of or recompense to event participants. These images can be used for promotional purposes as undertaken by the promoters and their partners, which will cover a range of possible uses including advertising press and media, printed information items, editorial coverage and any other promotion directly related to the promoters or their sponsors.

I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am traveling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event.

I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road. I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organisers, sponsors, promoters, and each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event, for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event.

I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties, or otherwise.

I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the above parties to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, website images, recordings or any other record of this event.
